Studijų programų turinys: dalykų grupės In terms of the content all courses covered by the curriculum are either 'pure', that is only deal with the particular topic and field of study (i.e. work, personnel or organization) or 'integrative' (or 'mied'). Both types of courses are presented with dominance of integrative ones. Pure courses offer a basis for a systematic development of declarative or procedural knowledge, while integrative courses help to make connections between various components and domains of knowledge. Integration is often sought along the lines of a problem, a theme and a professional role. Integration can also take place along specific dimensions, e.g. from theory to skills, across fields of study, from eisting reality to change. Moreover, integration can be achieved on the basis of a theoretical or methodological approach (e.g. cognitive theories, or qualitative methods). Studijų programos profilis Studijų programos pobūdis The program is of applied nature and focuses on the practical work activities of psychologist in Lithuanian and international business organizations Studijų programos skiriamieji bruožai Upon completion of the Programme the Universities will award a Joint Master s qualification Degree in Work and Organizational Psychology certified by Master s degree diplomas issued by both Universities. The joint programme provides opportunity to get knowledge in work and organizational psychology in international contet. As part of the studies is planned in other country, students will be able to broaden their worldview and to develop competences for work not only in Lithuania, but also in international and foreign organizations. One of the most important features of the programme is that the programme is constructed and to be implemented according to the main guidelines of European professional associations: European Federation of Psychology Association (EFPA) and European Network of Work and Organizational Psychology Professors (ENOP) Kvalifikacijos reikalavimai ir taisyklės Pagal Lietuvos kvalifikacijų sandaros aprašą, studijuojant antrojoje universitetinių studijų pakopoje įgyjamos VII lygio kvalifikacijos. Kvalifikacija skirta sudėtingai veiklai, susidedančiai iš įvairių tarpusavyje susijusių uždavinių, kurie gali apimti keleto giminingų profesinių veiklų sritis. Todėl veiklos atlikimas reikalauja ekspertinio naujausių žinių profesinės veiklos ir jai artimose ar giminingose srityse vertinimo ir pritaikymo, naujų faktų atradimo atliekant taikomuosius profesinės veiklos tyrimus, kūrybiško teorinių žinių ir mokslinių tyrimų rezultatų taikymo. Veikla atliekama savarankiškai nustatant atitinkamos veiklos srities uždavinius, priimant savarankiškus sprendimus, orientuotus į veiklos tobulinimą ir gerinimą. Veiklai būdingas vadovavimas kitų darbuotojų veiklai. Todėl šio lygio kvalifikacijos apima gebėjimus savarankiškai atlikti taikomojo pobūdžio tyrimus, teikti konsultacijas veiklos srityje, koordinuoti projektus, orientuotus į kitų žmonių kvalifikacijos tobulinimą ir inovacijų diegimą, analizuoti veiklos rezultatus ir juos pristatyti. Dėl žinių, technologijų, darbo organizavimo įvairiose veiklų srityse pažangos šio lygio veikla ir jos aplinka intensyviai kinta, pokyčiai sunkiai prognozuojami, veiklą sudaro nuolat besikeičiantys užduočių deriniai. Todėl veiklos kaita reikalauja gebėjimo priimti inovatyvius sprendimus, paremtus tyrimų rezultatais, įvertinti alternatyvius sprendimo variantus bei galimas socialines ir etines veiklos pasekmes. 11. Reikalavimai stojantiems Compulsory admission criteria are: - University Undergraduate Degree (Bachelor) in Psychology. Ankstesnio mokymosi pripažinimo galimybės Recognized in previous formal subjects learning, if provided relevance of content and amount of programs of study subjects. Programai būdingi baigimo reikalavimai The programme provides credits of psychology master's qualification defined in Regulations of the European Federation of Psychologists Associations
- Commitment in writing to full-time dedication for the 2 years of the programme. - Fluency in English (level B2, following the Common Framework of Reference for Language approved by the Council of Europe), using the common European Framework of reference for languages. Tolesnių studijų galimybės The graduates may continue their studies in doctoral degree studies and seek academic carriers in national or foreign universities and research institutions. Additionally there is a possibility to choose non-formal study (psychotherapy). 13. 14. Darbinis baigusiųjų profilis ir pavyzdžiai The academic qualifications allow for working as a researcher, as well as a psychologist in various businesses, non-government organizations and governmental institutions. In particular, the graduates will be able to apply the achieved knowledge and skills in human resources management, to apply psychological techniques to the world of business in order to increase the effectiveness of particular companies. Studijų metodai Interactive and academic lectures, brainstorming, graphic visualization (such as concept mapping, Venn diagram and etc.), collaborative learning (such as jigsaw technique), and independent literature review, problem oriented learning, discussions (e.g. small group discussion, round table discussion, introductory sentence discussion and etc.), observation, case study, project activities, critical assessment of research, presentation, counselling, role play, diary and videos analysis, portfolio. Vertinimo metodai Colloquium and eamination test (multiple-choice and open ended questions), Venn diagram, oral presentations and written reports, observation report, portfolios, essay, project activities, critical assessment of research, diaries and self-reflections. 15. Bendrosios kompetencijos 1. The ability to plan and carry out quantitative and qualitative research integrating contemporary scientific knowledge and valid methodology independently. 2. The ability to communicate and effectively cooperate with various groups of interest in professional manner using modern communication technologies. Studijų programos rezultatai 1.1 Ground and formulate research problems, create a research design, collect, analyze and evaluate the data in accordance to ethical code for the purposes of widening the knowledge base of work and organizational psychology in the contet of change. 2.1 Work in team or lead the team during implementation of professional tasks. Will be able to communicate effectively with members and non-members of organization

The ability to analyze and evaluate theoretical and practical psychological problems relevant to business organizations with critical integration of modern concepts of business psychology, results of international empirical studies and advanced practice. 5. The ability to independently choose or professionally develop and ethically apply the most appropriate psychological intervention method or program to address the issues of business organization for its success and development. 3.1 Demonstrate keen motivation for personal development, life-long learning and shape their professional and day-to-day activities in accordance to highest professional and ethical standards. Studijų programos rezultatai 4.1 Operate the main concepts of work and organizational psychology, able to integrate ideas of various sciences into the field of W&O psychology, able to discuss the current trends of W&O psychology scientific research in national, European and world contets. 4.2 Identify and select appropriate methods for improvement of human resource management and organizational development systems. 5.1 Identify psychological issues on personal, group and organizational levels in the various intercultural contets and frame management plan of the problematic issues. 5.2 Independently select, construct and use diagnostic techniques and instruments by which psychological phenomena can be assessed in the organizational contets for comple problem solving and decision-making purposes. 5.3 Create and implement designed interventions and trainings in a creative, sensitive and ethical way, provide psychological counseling service, evaluate effectiveness of the interventions and counseling, provide feedback with a view to organizational goals and employees well-being.
