Anyone in need is welcome. Pantry patrons include people who are without shelter and many who are struggling with poverty and loneliness. Some are struggling with addictions or with mental illness. Below are just a few ways to offer your time and talents as a steward to your Parish. Stewards to distribute Sunday Donuts & Coffee Once a month this individual will set-up and clean-up donuts & coffee distributed after 8:00am and 10:30am Masses. Stewards to maintain church linens This is a dedicated individual who will alternate with other stewards to launder church linens (purificators, corporal, and occasionally altar cloths). The linens may contain the remnants of the body and blood of Christ. There are special care requirements to how these are handled (instructions can be explained in further detail, if interested). Stewards as Parish Receptionist The parish receptionist is a volunteer position. Responsibilities include answering the phone, taking messages, assisting the parish secretary with mailings and various other jobs around the office.
