Prahos Karolio universitete vyko Veiklos IS1401ELN Strengthening Europeans Capabilities by Establishing the European Literacy Network Valdymo komiteto (MC) susitikimas ir Veiklos pradžiai skirta konferencija. Dr. Ingrida Balčiūnienė (Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas) ir dr. Reda Gedutienė (Klaipėdos universitetas), Valdymo komiteto narės, dalyvavo šiose veiklose. Dalyvavimo konferencijoje ataskaita Pirmąją konferencijos dieną buvo skaityti kviestiniai pranešimai ir organizuotos trijų darbo grupių (WG) sekcijos: WG1 An Integrated and Inclusive Approach to Foundational Literacy across Europe (vad. J. Dockrell, T. Papadopoulos) WG2 Developmental Aspects of Literacy and Education in a Digital World (vad. L. Tolchinsky, M. Bekar) WG3 Improving Literacy Technologies (vad. Th. Olivie, H. Lyytinen) WG1 sekcijoje buvo susitelkta į skaitymo daugiakalbėje aplinkoje iššūkius, šios srities mokslinių tyrimų rezultatus ir mokymo metodikas. Šioje sekcijoje skaityti keturi pranešimai: 1. K. WG2 sekcijoje skaitytas vienas kviestinis pranešimas skirtas skaitymo ir rašymo visą gyvenimą tyrimo strategijai, kitais trimis pranešimais buvo pristatytos WG2 darbo grupės trijų pogrupių veiklos idėjos ir jų įgyvendinimo planas:

Lindgren Multilingual literacy team WG3 sekcijoje skaityti keturi pranešimai nagrinėjo kompiuterinių žaidimų, lavinančių ankstyvuosius skaitymo įgūdžius, pritaikymo galimybes skirtingoms rašytinėms sistemoms, pedagoginius raštingumo aspektus, skaitmeninio raštingumo keliamus iššūkius, rašymo ir skaitymo sąsajas, ilgalaikio kalbos raidos stebėjimo metodikos pritaikomumą raštingumo tyrimams: 1. Holdt The value of developmental corpora for researching language acquisition Antrąją konferencijos dieną buvo organizuotos penkios apvaliojo stalo diskusijos ( Recent trends in bachelor s dissertation/thesis research: foci, methods, approaches ; Digital literacy ; Multilingual literacy ; ELN's publication strategy ; Evidence synthesis ) ir dvi paralelinės interaktyvios sesijos, kurių metu pristatyta 18 pranešimų. Pilną konferencijos programą žr. 1 priede. Dalyvavimo Valdymo komitete ataskaita Antrąją dieną vyko Valdymo komiteto (MC) susitikimas. Jo metu pirmiausia buvo patvirtinta susitikimo darbotvarkė. Toliau Veiklos vadovas prof. R. A. Alves (Portugalija) supažindino su Veiklos strategijomis, pristatė naujai įsitraukusias į Veiklą šalis, pakomentavo el. balsavimo, vykusio tarp Valdymo komiteto susitikimų, rezultatus ir praėjusio Valdymo komiteto susitikimo protokolą. Atskirų darbo grupių vadovai perskaitė pranešimus apie konkrečios darbo grupės veiklą, prioritetus ir strategijas. Buvo aptartas Veiklos biudžetas ir lėšų paskirstymas atsižvelgiant į esminę Veiklos strategiją. Atviruoju balsavimu buvo patvirtintas naujų šalių Rumunijos, Pietų Afrikos ir Baltarusijos įsitraukimas į Veiklą.
